Sheryl Maria Veerkamp

It is with heavy hearts that we must share the passing of Sheryl Maria Veerkamp. She passed April 18th 2026, in her home and surrounded by her family. My mom was a fighter but I do wish this life could have been more kind to her. She had been battling health issues for many years and she did so with the warmest smile. She was a single mother, a proud veteran, and a friend to everyone she met. Her death is the only thing about her that brings me pain. She was pure love. I know how hard it must have been to leave us but know we will carry you always.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Iris Eldredge.

She is survived by her daughters, Leondra Eldredge and Courtney Veerkamp; her son-in-law, Zechariah Golden; her grandson, Nova Eldredge; and her daughter in heart, Sydney Cozby.

She is also survived by her sisters, Casey Stine and Lisa Eldredge; her brother-in-law, Kevin Stine; her nieces, Riley Stine and Alyssa Eldredge; her uncle, Alejandro Hernandez; and her cousin, Andres Hernandez.

I didn't just have a mom, I had the best mom.
