Dr. Jacqueline Sue Balodis, born on March 12, 1942, in Pueblo, Colorado, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2025. A dedicated psychologist, Jacqueline devoted her life to the mental health of others, guiding countless individuals on their journeys to healing and understanding. Her passion for her work mirrored her deep commitment to her family, as she nurtured and supported her children throughout their lives.

Jacqueline is survived by three beloved children, her daughters Ruth Clark and Sue Perry and her son, John Balodis, along with 5 grandchildren, Cierra, Taylor, Spencer, Blake and Chase and 3 great grandchildren, Cheyenne, Dillon and Capri. She leaves behind a legacy of love, wisdom, and compassion that will forever resonate within the hearts of her family and friends. An active member of her church community, Jacqueline found strength and solace in her unwavering faith in God, often sharing her warmth and kindness with those around her.

Beyond her professional life, Jacqueline enjoyed a variety of hobbies that brought her joy and fulfillment. She had a deep appreciation for the beauty of nature, often spending time outdoors and cherishing quiet moments in reflection. Her life was a tapestry woven with memorable moments, laughter, and the connections she fostered with everyone she met. Her passing has left a void in the hearts of those touched by her. Though she will be dearly missed, her colorful spirit will continue to inspire all who knew her.

Jacqueline was preceded in death by her husband, Miroslaw (Mike) Balodis and her son, Ronne Balodis.

Her family is currently making plans to place her remains by her husband at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, California. Please contact John Balodis for further details.
