Cameron Orion Mask blessed Elizabeth and Thomas with his arrival March 17th, 1984 in Macon Georgia. The family moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma later that year where he attended preschool. In the summer of 1989 the family moved to Paris, France where Cameron and his younger brother, Brenden Wayne, attended the American School of Paris for four years. In 1992, the family was blessed with the birth of Elisa Martine. In 1994 the family then set off and moved back to America! Cameron continued his education in Double Oak, Texas at Flower Mound Elementary and Briarhill Middle school where he picked up Percussion in the school’s band. He graduated from Edward S. Marcus High school. From there he went on to the University of North Texas where he achieved the President’s Honor Roll, studying business. Cameron was active in Boy Scouts and earned the highest rank, Eagle Scout. He loved to be outdoors and camped often with immediate family, extended family, and friends. He enjoyed learning to hunt on trips with grandpa Dick Hillman and uncle Rich. Cameron was a savvy entrepreneur from an early age. He raised French spending money selling cookies, temporary tattoos and other small items via a network of friends acting as suppliers and salespeople. He worked part time through high school at various restaurants and more hours during his university years to afford independent living.His passion for video games resulted in a career pivot from business. He began as a mere intern with the company, Gearbox, and served tables on nights and weekends to support himself. But not for long! He soon became a paid employee, then worked his way up in the ranks to become a project manager for Gearbox. During his tenure there, he contributed to several hit games including the “Borderlands” series and “Brothers in Arms”. Seeking new challenges he joined RIOT Games in California known for League of Legends and most recently worked at the game publisher “2K” in Las Vegas. His other passions were enjoying live music & comedy shows with friends/family. He also shot a mean game of pool, a skill he honed since adolescence. Cameron was a cherished son, trusted brother, and compassionate friend to many. He shall be dearly missed but never forgotten.
