In Loving Memory of Barbara Jean Javonillo

Las Vegas, NV - On June 26, 2026, Barbara Jean Javonillo, known lovingly by her friends and family as "Angel," passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by the thoughts, prayers, and deep love of her family.

Angel was born on November 7, 1943, in Hilo, Hawaii, to Jeanna Hulihe'e Kahanauele and George Singson Jr. Throughout her life, she carried the gentle grace and welcoming spirit of the islands with her. In a rapidly changing world, she was a steady, comforting anchor, living with a quiet strength that left a lasting touch on the hearts of everyone who knew her.

There is profound peace in knowing that Angel has been joyfully reunited with her beloved husband of 64 years, Faustino "Jay" Javonillo Jr., and her son, Brian Javonillo. She was also embraced in homecoming by her brother, Keihanaikukauakahihulihe'ekahaunaele, and her parents.

Angel's incredible legacy of love lives on through her devoted children: Monique Shimabukuro (Stanley), Jan Monroe, and Randy Javonillo (Diane). She is also survived by her sister Kaleilehua Bruchal. Her gentle spirit will be proudly carried forward by all of her 8 grandchildren and 16 beautiful great-grandchildren.

A private memorial will be held to celebrate her beautiful journey, honor her life, and wish her eternal peace.
